This week I've been reflecting on the past year and the things I've learned. There have been so many things that I've learned, but the biggest thing would probably be that I've learned is to find the joy in all things. No matter how dark the clouds get, there will always be a silver lining. We all have to go through those hard times, but they are what give us strength and give us the opportunity to learn to lean on our Savior and have Him help us every step of the way. I know He is walking with me no matter where I go. One of my favorite hymns is How Firm A Foundation but specifically the last verse that reads:

That soul who on Jesus hath leaned for repose,
I cannot, I will not desert to its foes;
That soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake,
I’ll never, no never, no never forsake!

I know Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father know and love you intimately and individually. He will never forsake you. I love and miss you all and hope you have the best week and strive to find joy in all things!

This week I was reading about Alma and Amulek when they got thrown into prison. One verse sticks out to me and its Alma 14:26
"And Alma cried, saying: How long shall we suffer these great afflictions, O Lord? O Lord, give us strength according to our faith which is in Christ, even unto deliverance. And they broke the cords with which they were bound; and when the people saw this, they began to flee, for the fear of destruction had come upon them."
Ok, so first off these guys saw the people who believed them get burned and have been in prison for a while and just beaten up and spit on and all the things. But even amidst all these things they STILL HAVE FAITH IN CHRIST! Now that is pretty amazing! It has made me think of what I do in hard times to keep my faith strong. It's at those times that you are struggling that you have to do the little things to keep your faith. Deliverance and strength always comes after the trials. So "Keep trying. Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep growing. Heaven is cheering you on today, tomorrow, and forever." -Elder Holland

Love you all and hope it's been the best week!

It's The Suite Life

Family and friends!

Well y'all, it has been quite a week here in the life of Sister Twede and Sister Inskeep! Let's just jump right in

☀️Highlights☀️
- We taught a ton of lessons!
- We've been able to meet some of our ward members in person and that's been so fun!
- Sister Inskeep has a goal to teach someone in every state and we are now at 25/50! (If any of y'all know people in Connecticut, Delaware, New Hampshire, Louisiana, New Jersey, or South Dakota let us know!)
- I turned 20!šŸ¤Æ
- We had a really good lesson with our friend Anthony!

FunniesšŸ˜‚
So due to the huge increase of missionaries coming to the mission some companionships have been put into hotels! Most of the Zone Leaders got put into hotels last week. We thought we were in the clear for this week because we hadn't gotten a call from the Assistants. So today we went grocery shopping and got some good stuff and as soon as we had gotten home and put everything away, low and behold, the assistants call and tell us we are moving to a hotel!!! I honestly just started laughing. Well now I can say that I lived in a hotel on my missionšŸ˜‚ WILD!!

This week I have had some really amazing experiences that have just made me feel so happy! I was sitting in a members home and listening to them and I thought how good the Lord is. Life is hard, but the gospel makes it so much more bearable! It's through Jesus Christ that we can find everlasting joy in the darkest of times. Because of our Savior we don't have to suffer! We don't have to walk this life alone! We don't have to stay in our little deep dark holes forever! Because of Jesus Christ we can do ALL things! Just turn to Him, pray hard, and then just listen! I know He will answer you! No matter what you are struggling with He will help you, He's just waiting for you to let Him!  I love my Savior and the gospel. I have never felt so much joy, peace, love, and all the things! God is good and He loves you!

That's all I got so I hope y'all have a great week and know that this Sister loves and misses y'all!

This week I've been thinking about trust, trust in the Lord to be exact. This is probably one of the hardest things to try and do. But once you do it, life becomes almost "easier". Two of my favorite scriptures about trusting in the Lord is 1 Nephi 3:7:
"And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them."

And 1 Nephi 4:6-7:
"6 And I was led by the Spirit, not knowing beforehand the things which I should do.
7 Nevertheless I went forth..."

Nephi had no clue what he was doing and yet he didn't let that stop him. He put his trust in the Lord and *spoiler alert* he was blessed in so many way and was able to accomplish everything the Lord asked him to do! This is something that I'm really trying to implement into my life because I've seen in my own life and in the lives of others how much "easier" life is when we trust He has it all under control. Even if we have no clue what's going to happen, we can know that if we just follow Him we will ALWAYS end up where He needs us to be. So trust in the Lord! He sees the whole picture!

I hope you all had a great week! I love and miss you all! Stay healthy! Stay safe! And remember that God loves you!
