Hey hey hey! It's your girl coming to ya from Everett, Washington! This week was so crazy so here it is:
Monday: So here in Washington because it doesn't snow all that often no one is prepared for it and no one knows how to drive in it. But we still were able to make it to the church building because one of our members gave us a ride. After pday, we walked around and tried to go see a potential but ended up not being able to see her. Then some amazing members from the STL's ward came and picked us up so we could exchange.
Tuesday: EXCHANGE! It was freezing. I only biffed it once so that was a upside! But really it was fun. I was in Viewridge with Sis West and we were able to have a snowball fight with one of their member's daughters which was pretty exciting! All in all it was an alright day!
Wednesday: So because our car was grounded due to the snow, we had to walk. But being YSA missionaries, our area is not a walking-friendly area but we still did it. So we walked about 7 miles just to go see one potential...in the snow...mostly up hill...and he wasn't even home. Then we walked a couple more miles to our bishop's house for a lesson. Which went really well! Then one of our members was able to give us a ride home. However, her car got stuck on the hill, so we helped push her up the hill. It was a pretty crazy day!

Thursday: We were able to go and do service at the food bank. Then we were able to finally use our car again after dinner. That was so nice and we had a really good finding time!
Friday: We did service in the morning which was good and then we had a lesson with our friend Miguel. We talked about the importance of going to church and why we go to church. After that we had a lesson with Carlos. He just got baptized and moved up here from Cali and he's awesome! We talked about faith and how it is our anchor. It was so awesome! We then had two more lessons that night about faith and they were super awesome!
Saturday: We had service at the horse farm in the morning and then did a lot of weekly planning. We had two lessons that night with some members and we played the sacrifice game with them. One family got pretty intense about it and we had to remind them it was just a game, haha.
Sunday: Church was so good! It was just so awesome! We had a really good lesson about overcoming temptation with Josh (one of our recent converts). He's so awesome! We then met with our friend Octavia and she is getting rebaptized on Saturday!!! So we were putting together the program for her baptism so that was fun!
Well that was the week! This week I have been studying a lot about faith. A scripture that I love is Ether 12:4
"Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God."
I love how it talks about when our faith is the anchor to our souls we are lead to do good and glorify God. Faith is an action and is meant to lead us closer to the Savior. So we must continue to to strengthen our faith so we can become more like our Savior. I love you all and hope you have the best week! Keep me updated on y'all's lives!
