SNOW!!

Fam and friends!!

Hey there, everyone! I hope you all had a fun week! It's been pretty crazy up here in good old Everett. So here's the week:

Monday: We just hung out at the church with a bunch of other missionaries and then contacted some people and came back for FHE with the ward. It was way fun also seeing and getting to know more people in the ward.

Tuesday: We went and did service at the horse farm. It's so fun being around the horses! We then had a really awesome lesson with our friend, David, that night. We were going to try and put him on date for baptism, but there are still some things we need to do before that. After his lesson, we went to institute and that was awesome!

Wednesday: We had District Council in the morning and it was so good! We then had a bunch of lessons with members. We talked about the Restoration and man, I just love teaching that lesson. There are so many things that I continue learn each time we teach it. Later that night, we were able to make a new friend! His name it Kyle and we met him last week. He asked us to come back because he had a ton of questions. So we went back and he said his girlfriend also wanted to hear what we had to say. But she wasn't there, so we left and went back after an hour. She still wasn't there, so we talked to him and his mom. His mom seemed super interested, so we were able to give the elders a referral. Yeet for missionary work! Oh but funny story! So, as we were out trying to contact people, I was backing up Sis Ballard and I wasn't looking where I was going and ended up totally tripping over a curb. Sis Ballard saw it all on the back-up cam and it was so funny!

Thursday: We did service at the food bank and then we were just out and about all day. We had some more bomb lessons that night with some members.

Friday: We had service at Habitat for Humanity. Then we had weekly planning yay.... then later that night we had to run some things to the elders because we are the only ones with a car. And we like to be Christlike.

Saturday: Horse Farm again! It was raining super hard, so it was super muddy and cold, but that wasn't about to stop us. We had a bunch more lessons and then had dinner with one of our members and her fam. It turns out her mom went to my mom's same mission and knows my mom!! She also knows my dad and knew them both when my parents were dating. SMALL WORLD! It was so crazy!

Sunday: Church was so good! We talked about how we find joy in life and for real it is Christ where we find the most joy! When we completely rely on Him and put Him at the focus of our lives, we can have everlasting joy. We also got to watch the face-to-face and man it was so good! Elder Chistofferson totally threw down! We were at one of our ward member's house and it started snowing during the broadcast! So all y'all that said it doesn't snow in Washington, lied to me. But luckily, we made it home safe and sound and didn't slide off the road! Woot woot!

SNOW!!

Anyway, that was the week! I just want to tell you how important it is to put Christ at the focus of our lives. Even when things are going wrong, we can still find joy in Him! I love and miss you all! Have a great week!
